This month’s meeting is on Monday 18th April 2016, 6.30pm onwards at The Student Room HQ in Brighton. See venue details.
This month we’re going to take a slightly different tack and rather than having prescribed talks, the meeting will take the form of a few short panel sessions where everyone’s encouraged to bring ideas that will rally or divide the troops… :-)
Of course, no debate would be valid without some strong opinions and so the topic of the debates is up to you! Bring ideas along on Monday and we’ll pick some to discuss that night. But in the meantime, here’s a few ideas to get you started…
- When should you code something from scratch?
- Is PHP a fading language now?
- The One True Framework – is there such a thing?
Hopefully these will get you thinking… All ideas welcome!
As always, if you’re planning to attend, please mark yourselves as attending over on Lanyrd so we know how much pizza & drinks to get! A big thanks again to The Student Room as normal for sponsoring the group and supplying the venue, food and drink :-)
